perfect spot for city walks and park views

During my recent stay, I really loved how I could easily walk to the beautiful kingsnorth gardens just a few steps away and the historic world war one memorial arch less than a kilometer away, making my city explorations a true delight. the rooms were modern, featuring comfortable beds and complimentary teas that added to the experience for a single traveler like me. but I felt the bathroom could use a bit more space for convenience.

I had a great experience during my recent stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the nice location, just a short walk to the beach. It was convenient to have a bar on site for relaxation after a long day. One highlight was playing darts with friends in the evening.

There were minor issues, like the window view and noise from nearby places. The room also lacked a hairdryer, which took time to resolve.

The description claiming a terrace is misleading, as it doesn't exist. The so-called 'king' bed is actually a smaller queen size, which can definitely throw off those expecting more space. The noise from the pub below isn't well-managed, interrupting the evenings if you're a light sleeper. Minor details like only having a small sink and the lack of accessible HDMI ports make the room feel less than ideal. A bigger mirror would enhance the experience, but that's a small preference. Expecting a seamless customer service experience might lead to disappointment, given the slow communication when contacting about lost items.

The food from the restaurant was impressive, featuring large portions and delicious homemade biscuits, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Disappointing Experience with Customer Service

The stay was marred by uncommunicative staff regarding my misplaced jackets. The room lacked ventilation and showed signs of neglect. Despite its potential for comfort, I can't recommend this place due to my experience. For a better stay, choose a different hotel in the area.

Jack at the front desk was super helpful, making our check-in smooth and even helping us with food orders from the restaurant. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The Sunshine Bistro nearby served amazing cocktails and had friendly staff. Breakfast portions were huge and flavorful, perfect to start the day. we did notice that access to the HDMI port on the TV was restricted, which would have been nice for connecting our devices. The bathroom could also be a bit larger, but it served its purpose well. Despite those minor issues, the value for money here is excellent, especially considering how busy the place gets on weekends. we had a fantastic time and would definitely come back again!
